Moving data around and sorting it in a logical manner can be tiresome, but there is always some kind of solution to be found. A good example is MyFolders, which integrates itself in the Windows Explorer Shell to provide you with new context menu options. These options enable you to access specific folders instantly and send files to these locations on the fly.

You can have the application up and running in no time, even on slower machines. It is offered completely free of charge and it works on all popular Windows versions. The hardware requirements are modest and you don't have to install any prerequisite tools or services.

Once the application is installed on your computer, you will find a new set of menus when you right click. By default, the menu contains opening the Documents and Desktop folders or to open the command prompt in these locations. Also, if you right click a file or folder, you will also find options for copying or moving them to the aforementioned locations.

New location options can be added manually in the application's settings menu. All you have to do is click a button and select a folder in a standard Open dialog. Furthermore, you can add separators, if you want to arrange your options in a logical manner. Once you add your options, you can use them just like the default ones.

Sorting data can be much faster and easier, thanks to MyFolders' straightforward functionality.

Pros

You can jump to folders on your hard drives instantly, through context menu options. It is also possible to move or copy data to these locations in a similar fashion.

Cons

There are no obvious issues to address.
